Terms of Service

By using the Sayfanot platform ("Platform"), you accept these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

The Platform is operated under Turkish laws and these Terms are subject to the laws of the Republic of Turkey.

Sayfanot is a free web platform that allows users to track the books they read, save quotes, and view reading statistics.

The Platform offers the following services:

• Book search and adding
• Personal library management
• Reading status tracking
• Quote saving and management
• Reading statistics
• User profile creation

When using the Platform, you must comply with the following rules:

• Provide real and accurate information
• Protect your account security
• Use the Platform in accordance with the laws
• Be respectful to other users
• Not infringe copyright
• Not share spam or malicious content
• Not threaten the security of the Platform

4.1. Account Creation

The Platform authenticates through Google OAuth. You must have a valid Google account to create an account.

4.2. Account Security

You are responsible for the security of your account. If you notice unauthorized activity on your account, contact us immediately.

4.3. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time. Account deletion is irreversible and all your data will be permanently deleted.

5.1. User Content

You are responsible for the content you add to the Platform (quotes, notes, etc.). You must ensure that your content does not infringe copyright.

5.2. Book Information

Book information is retrieved from the Open Library API. Open Library is responsible for the accuracy of this information. The Platform does not guarantee the accuracy of information obtained from third-party sources.

5.3. Platform Content

The Platform design, logo, code and other content belong to Sayfanot and are protected by copyright. They cannot be used without permission.

The Platform is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. The service may be temporarily interrupted due to maintenance, updates or technical issues.

We reserve the right to change, add or remove Platform features without prior notice.

The Platform cannot be held responsible for the following situations:

• Data loss or corruption
• Service interruptions
• Problems arising from third-party services
• Damages caused by user errors
• Unauthorized access or security breaches

Your access and use of the Platform is at your own risk.

We may suspend or terminate your account in the following cases:

• Violation of these Terms
• Illegal use
• Threatening Platform security
• Abuse or spam
• Harming other users

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes. The updated Terms take effect on the date they are published.

If you continue to use the Platform after changes, you are deemed to have accepted the updated Terms.

These Terms are subject to the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes arising from the Terms will be resolved in Turkish courts.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the other provisions remain valid.
